I am a budding upholsterer with years of sewing experience. I began with clothing and costume making and eventually began to experiment with interior decor such as pillows, curtains, and other fiber arts. As I continued to grow my skill sets and my vast portfolio of projects, I decided to add another skill set to the mix- Upholstery. I took my first upholstery class and I was absolutely hooked. 

I am drawn to upholstery because I love both the repertoire of skill sets it requires and the fulfillment of reviving and renewing flea market finds, priceless heirlooms and well-worn hand-me-downs. The demolition work, repairs, sewing, stuffing, stretching, stapling, and hammering result in a piece that is made anew once again.
